What is the Jaime Merino UMH Rotating Presentation Videos Contest?

The goal of the event is to show the clinical cases of the students of the University Miguel Hernández. Mainly to other colleagues, professors, medicine professionals and people, and, above all, that are available and visible in:

• the site of the subject

• the twitter account of the Department of Clinical Medicine, @medicinaUMH

• a website of the Department of clinical mmdicine of the UMH

• and on the YouTube channel of the Department of Clinical Medicine

Articles from the UMH store with a limit of € 300 the best video,

Articles from the UMH store with a limit of € 200 for the second,

UMH merchandising, USB + slideshow pointer to third video.

What are the bases of the UMH 2020-2021 Jaime Merino Clinical Rotary Contest?

DURATION

The maximum length of the video should not exceed 10 minutes.

PRESENTATION AND RESOLUTION

The awards will be delivered from October, if possible, coinciding with the Congress of Medical Students, after evaluating those presented until June 30, 2021, by a panel made up of the hospital managers and tutors of the 4 rotating courses included .

VIDEO / PRESENTATION SEND MODE

You can send your video through the following FORM so that they are accessible without having to send them by mail. Only one video can be presented per student corresponding to their clinical case presentation in any of the subjects taught in the Medicine Degree at the Miguel Hernández de Elche University.

RECORDING PROGRAMS

To record a video of your presentation, it can be done by:

1- Powerpoint 2010 or 2013

2- Using Keynote on Mac (link to how-to video)

3- Capturing the screen and voice using Quick time for Mac (link to explanatory video).

You can send your videos in any of these formats:

MP4, MKV, AVI, DivX, Xvid, AVI, MOV, WMV, Flash Video (FLV), DVD-Video, MPEG-2, MPEG-1, RealMedia, 3GP, WebM

COPYRIGHT AND EXPLICIT CONSENT FOR OPEN PUBLICATION

It is recommended that the videos do not contain copyrighted multimedia materials, to avoid blocking the video from uploading to YouTube. It is advisable to use multimedia resources free of rights, according to current legislation. There are numerous portals that offer royalty-free multimedia content and a Creative Commons (CC) license to incorporate them into your teaching material.

Given that the objective is to upload the videos to the UMH YouTube Channel, which will also be linked to the subjects for which these videos may be useful, the authors must sign their explicit consent on their publication, which will be sent to medicine. clinic@umh.es also before June 30 so that the video can be evaluated. Without this requirement, the videos will not be evaluated by the court.
