Medical bubble, are we too many?. The students of 5th year degree in Medicine of the University Miguel Hernández (UMH). they have decided to organize a round table on Tuesday May 5 at 6:00 pm.. The event will take place in the Salón de Grados of Francisco Javier Balmis building, in the campus of Sant Joan d’Alacant (Spain).

The title of the event will be “The medical bubble, are we too many?” and is included as part of the course Education and Health Promotion. The event will feature various professional assistants and will try to address controversial issues concerning the number of Medicine students and the mismatch of MIR vacancies at the present time.

Speakers from the medical bubble, are we too many?

The round table will be mainly constituted by the following speakers:

• José Pastor Rosado, president of the Illustrious College of Doctors of Alicante.
• Francisco Javier Yebes, councillor for Education of the City Hall of Sant Joan d’Alacant.
• Andrea García Mas, vocal del Consejo Estatal de Estudiantes de Medicina (CEEM).
• The professor Antonio Compañ Rosique, dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the UMH, who will be also responsible for moderating the event.
