The new academic year 2016-17 has begun at the UMH and contest Jaime Merino video presentation of Clinical Rotations of the UMH.

What is the contest Jaime Merino video presentation UMH about?

The goal of the event is to show the clinical cases of the students of the University Miguel Hernández. Mainly to other colleagues, professors, medicine professionals and people, and, above all, that are available and visible in:

  • the site of the subject
  • a website of the Department of clinical mmdicine of the UMH
  • at the UMH website

What are the bidding terms of the Contest Jaime Merino video UMH 2016-17?

PRESENTATION AND RESOLUTION
The awards will be announced in September 2017 after evaluating the presented until July 15.  The university court will be composed of responsibles and hospital tutors from the5 clinical rotations included

SENDING VIDEO/PRESENTATION
The maximum video length should not exceed 10 minutes.
You can send your video through the following
FORM so that they are accessible without having to send them by mail. Only one video per student for presentation of Clinical Case may be presented in one of the rotation subject. Basically, the Department of Clinical Medicine (Emergency, Primary Care, Psychiatry and Medicine I-II).
RECORDING PROGRAMS
To record a video of your presentation, you can be through:
a) Powerpoint 2010 or 2013 (link to video)
b) Mediante Keynote from Mac (link to video)
c) Screenshot and voice through Quick time for Mac (link to video).

You can send your videos in any of these formats:
MP4, MKV, AVI, DivX, Xvid, AVI, MOV, WMV, Flash Video (FLV), DVD-Video, MPEG-2, MPEG-1, RealMedia, 3GP, WebM
COPYRIGHT AND EXPLICIT CONSENT PUBLICATION IN OPEN SOURCE
It is recommended the videos do not contain copyrighted multimedia materials. Especially to avoid blocking the video in its rise to YouTube. It is recommend using royalty free multimedia resources, according to the current legislation. There are many sites that offer rights and license-free multimedia content Creative Commons (CC) to incorporate in your teaching materials.
Given that the aim is to upload the videos to the YouTube channel of the UMH, these videos will also be linked with subjects that can be useful. The authors must sign your explicit consent on its publication, which will be sent to the Department also before July 15 so the video can be evaluated.
